Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to process your order and run the store. We never sell your data, and you can ask us to see or delete it at any time.
This policy explains how Zknit Lifestyle Inc. handles personal information on zknit.ai, in compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect

If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that service. Your wishlist, followed stores, reviews and support tickets are saved in your account.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to complete your order and run the store:
- The vendor who sold your item: your name, delivery address, phone and order details, so they can ship it.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), shipping carriers, our hosting provider, and email and messaging tools. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Advertising and analytics tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads), Microsoft Clarity (session recordings that show how visitors use the site) and Cloudflare (security and traffic statistics). These measure site visits and ad results.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We never sell or rent your personal information. Some providers store data outside Canada, for example in the USA, where it may be subject to local laws.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart, remember your currency and wishlist, measure traffic, record how visitors use the site, and show relevant ads. You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies in our cookie banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, like the cart, may stop working.
Marketing messages
We send offers by email or WhatsApp only if you agree. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes, and other personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent to marketing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Our site uses SSL encryption, and payments are processed by Stripe on secure, PCI-compliant systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Zknit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Kids’ items must be purchased by a parent or guardian.
